What is removed when you delete your account:
- Your profile, display name, avatar and nickname.
- All of your fish profiles and journal entries.
- All of your observations, including those shared to the community or research database, together with their media files and thumbnails.
- Your label suggestions, tutorial and course progress, consent preferences and any research project participation.
- Any beta feedback and analytics events linked to your user id.
- Your newsletter subscription (matched by email).
- Your login (email and password) from our authentication provider.
Aggregated, non-personal statistics that were derived from public observations before deletion (for example counts on public pages) may remain in cached form for a short period. If any step of the automated cleanup fails, the AquaCoda team is notified and completes the removal manually.
